US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Apply specialized knowledge of scientific data collection and processing systems, electronic system maintenance and design, electromechanical systems, and unmanned systems technology to repair equipment and perform maintenance.; Provide training and make decisions to optimize equipment operation and performance.; Monitor and assess the performance of operational survey systems and lead efforts to ensure all systems operate correctly.; Evaluate and repair equipment that has experienced catastrophic failure or below-optimum condition.; Manage General Purpose Electronics Test Equipment (GPETE) for troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and adjustment of survey equipment.
