Louisiana Hospitalist locums centered on a quick start and true no call coverage, built around a straightforward 7 on style day shift that supports predictable off time.

Highlights

• Rush credentialing and urgent backfill need, ideal if you can step in quickly
• No call requirements, your time off stays protected
• Adults only inpatient hospitalist coverage
• Open ICU environment with specialty backup available
• Meditech charting

Practice Setting

• 92 bed acute care hospital with a 12 bed ICU
• Average daily census of 16 to 18 patients
• Typically two hospitalists on site with APP support
• Onsite consults include Psychiatry, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Cardiology
• Additional support available for Nephrology and Pulmonology

Schedule

• Day shift coverage, 7a to 7p
• Specific dates currently needed in late May into early June
• No call

Cases and Procedures

• Inpatient adult hospitalist service
• Open ICU coverage
• No procedures

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Louisiana license required, will not wait for license
