Tulane University Center for Public Service VISTA* HOUSING IS PROVIDED * The VISTA member will be part of a cohort of up to twenty (20) VISTA members sponsored by Tulane University's Center for Public Service (CPS). In addition to the benefits offered by AmeriCorps, Tulane CPS VISTA members will receive housing at no cost in our downtown graduate housing building. The Tulane VISTA program partners with 20 nonprofit organizations serving the New Orleans community to place VISTA members in high-impact, capacity-building roles. VISTA members work with one organization during their term of service on a variety of activities to improve their partner site's anti-poverty programs. Tulane hosts a weekly meeting for all our VISTA members to review activities and projects and to participate in professional development workshops to help build the skill sets of our members for success this year and beyond. Housing is provided free of charge to our members. The Tulane CPS VISTA program is recruiting ten positions to begin during the summer of 2026. The organizations include lowernine.org, Ozanam Inn, CBNO, Urban Conservancy, UNITY for the Homeless, Friends of the New Orleans Public Library, Court Watch NOLA, Greenlight New Orleans, and Global New Orleans, and others.
