Locums Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Louisiana - No Call

CTICU locums opportunity near New Orleans with PRN day shifts, no call, and ongoing transplant-focused critical care coverage.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient cardiac critical care environment
• High-acuity heart and lung transplant population
• Academic center with ECMO and vent management cases
• Support from attendings, hospitalists, and CT surgery teams

Schedule

• PRN daytime coverage with ongoing needs
• 12-hour onsite day shifts
• No call responsibilities
• Select shifts still available throughout the year

Cases and Procedures

• Manage 8-10 ICU patients per shift
• Vent management and transplant-focused critical care
• Perform lines and bedside ICU procedures
• Adult-only patient population

Requirements

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• Active Louisiana license required

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
