Salary : $75000 - $100000 Review technical specifications on most/all request for quotes (RFQ's) received, prior to production, to confirm our ability to source materials, and equipment (if needed) for those projects. Evaluate and review QAP's (quality assurance plan) to confirm we are meeting all customer requirements. Confirm that we have necessary testing equipment and confirm establish testing procedures as required. Conduct testing throughout production and/or prior to shipping that materials meet technical specifications. Prepare and source from vendors, Certificates of Conformance to document testing/monitoring procedures Interface with customers and sub-contractors with questions regarding technical specifications, quality questions, and corrective action reports as needed. Work with employees to implement the quality standards agreed upon by management into the daily work procedures and activities. Job Requirements: Associate Degree and/or 5 years working experience Certification of quality control is a strong advantage; experience in ISO 9000, is preferred. Understanding of Military Standards Experience in manufacturing preferred, but not necessary You should have a strong background reading and interpreting technical drawings We are looking for someone who is comfortable training and teaching others about the necessity and requirements to maintain the internal quality standards.
