Responsibilities:Propose, develop, and implement new product designsEvaluate and optimize existing products for manufacturability and performanceSelect electronic components that meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goalsDevelop and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation for internal and customer useWork closely with cross‑functional teams to manage design processes, budgets, and timelinesProvide ongoing support for production teams during design changes and improvementsMaintain accurate and complete documentation, archives, and reportsRequirements:BSEE with 5+ years of industry experienceExpertise in PCB circuit design: schematic capture, library management, layout, and simulationHands‑on experience with PCB/Electronic system bring‑up, debugging, and functional verificationExperience with microprocessors and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB)Knowledge of DC circuits up to 400V and 120/240V AC circuitsProficient with standard lab equipment: digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.Desired Skills:Experience with analog video systemsProficiency in Altium Designer and Eagle CADStrong soldering skillsProgramming experience in C and/or C++Who are we?Outland Technology is a leader in the diving and inspection‑class ROV industry, known for our innovative products that are used worldwide.
