We serve customers in aerospace and defense, specialized vehicles, turf care, and fuel systems.This role is in Textron Systems' Land Systems business area.About This RoleTextron Systems is seeking engineers of all disciplines to support the United States Marine Corps Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) program. For this program, the company has developed the Cottonmouth® ARV, a recon vehicle designed to be feared and a force multiplier armed with advanced full‑spectrum reconnaissance and surveillance sensors. The Cottonmouth uses a modular open systems approach based on Ground Vehicle Operating System, employing the Tactical Assault Kit Extended framework for easy capability integration. The platform offers superior mobility, amphibious capability, and electronic warfare, allowing Marines to operate effectively in off‑road terrain and water points.ResponsibilitiesLead Reliability and Logistics Engineering efforts related to one or more programs.Plan, manage, and execute specialty engineering tasking across design, production, and sustainment life‑cycle phases.Perform reliability and maintainability allocations and predictions.Conduct reliability modeling and simulation.Execute failure modes, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA).Responsible for failure reporting analysis and corrective action systems (FRACAS) activity.Monitor fielded systems and measure reliability.Perform fault tree analysis.Apply reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM).Develop spares predictions and level of repair analysis (LORA).Analyze maintenance tasks.Perform life‑cycle cost analysis.Establish good working relationships with internal and external customers.Conduct other specialty engineering analysis as required.QualificationsProven ability to communicate with all levels of internal and customer organizations.Experience with technical report writing and presentations.Experience with reliability and logistics metrics, calculations, and statistics.Experience with DOORS, JIRA, MagicDraw (or equivalent) or model‑based systems engineering is a plus.Experience with Windchill Risk and Reliability, Reliability Workbench, Slicwave, Eagle, Powerlog, Compass or Opus logistics software tools is a plus.Current or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.Education & Experience LevelsWe are looking for candidates with a bachelor's and/or master's degree in systems engineering, test engineering, or a related engineering field.
