Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Third Grade Teacher at Cedarwood School in Mandeville, LA. The Third Grade Teacher will create and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, manage classroom activities, and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities include monitoring student progress, fostering communication with parents and staff, and supporting the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students. The role also involves participation in school events, activities, and professional development programs.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Teaching, Elementary Education, and Curriculum Development
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
• A solid understanding of educational principles and practices
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required)
• Teaching certification or licensure in applicable grade level (required)
• Experience working with students in an elementary setting (required)
