Assistant Professor

The Assistant Professor (P00086413) will teach MLSC 45145 Clinical Biochemistry for students in the College of Health Professions, Department of Laboratory Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences Program. MLSC 45145 Clinical Biochemistry (5 Credits): Provides instruction in the detection and quantification of metabolic compounds of clinical significance used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Emphasizes analytical principles, laboratory methods, and the diagnostic significance of biological constituents.

Qualifications:

  • M.S., MLS (ASCP)CM

Additional Information:

  • Teach MLSC 45145 Clinical Biochemistry.
  • Prepare and deliver course lectures and instructional materials.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Respond to student questions and provide academic support.
  • Conduct exam review sessions.
  • Assist with grading senior case study projects.
  • Maintain course materials and records in accordance with department policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.

Salary Information:

$900/mo for Aug - Dec 2026
