Job Description

Located in a dynamic and attractive territory, the Community of Communes of Val Marnaysien (CCVM) comprises 45 communes and provides numerous services to the population, particularly in the areas of childhood and youth. In the context of the operation of one of its leisure centers, the CCVM is recruiting a catering agent (H/F) responsible for the preparation and service of meals delivered in cold link, as well as the maintenance of the catering facilities. Under the authority of the director of the structure, you participate in the smooth running of the catering time by ensuring the quality of the reception of children, the respect of hygiene rules and food safety.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving meals delivered in cold link and checking temperatures and delivery compliance.
• Ensuring the reheating of preparations according to the procedures in force.
• Preparing and setting up the service of meals.
• Ensuring compliance with dietary regimes and any individual reception protocols (PAI).
• Participating in the service of meals in compliance with hygiene rules.
• Accompanying children during mealtime and fostering a convivial and educational climate.
• Sensitizing children to good dietary practices and respect for collective life rules.
• Ensuring the cleaning and disinfection of equipment, furniture, and catering facilities.
• Applying HACCP procedures and food hygiene protocols.
• Performing dishwashing and managing waste sorting.
• Participating in the monitoring of food traceability documents.

Profile Sought

Knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules (HACCP).
• Understanding of the operation of collective catering, preferably.
• Mastery of reheating procedures for meals.
• Ability to rigorously apply sanitary protocols.

Training and experience:

• Experience in collective catering or in a school/after-school environment would be appreciated.

Additional Information

Workplace: Leisure center in Recologne

Working hours: Part-time, 20.5 hours per week annualized

Start date: August 26, 2026

Contract: Fixed-term contract for 12 months for the school year 2026/2027 or by way of transfer or detachment according to the candidate's profile

Legal Basis
