Drawing from our diverse teams of experts and harnessing the unlimited power of teamwork, we put tomorrow's technology in the world's hands today.A Day in the Life of a Production Planner Intern:Reviews Engineering and Manufacturing information such as new and revised designs, specifications, and bills of materials; production, tool, and test equipment drawings; manufacturing plans; operation and routing sheetsConducts reviews, incorporate Quality planning, and provide approval for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, design drawings, parts, process plans, and discrete jobs (shop orders)Monitors, reviews, analyzes, and interprets data/metrics to identify trends, failure modes, chronic/systemic failures, and process variation to improve QualityPerforms Quality engineering work requiring a high degree of technical competenceEngages in daily communication and collaboration with Production to ensure Production leaders are aware of and taking appropriate measures to mitigate the future recurrence of their defects. Interfaces with all other engineering/integrated supply chain functions within the organization and on quality-related issuesPerforms other job-related duties as assigned by managementQualifications What You'll Need:Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldAbility to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities efficientlyAbility to interact effectively with management, peers, and other employees relative to quality and technical issuesSelf-starter with the ability to work in a fast pace, deadline driven environmentEffective verbal and written communications skillsBasic Microsoft Office application skills with emphasis in MS Excel (Power BI is a plus)This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.This internship is more than a summer experience — offering mentorship, training, and meaningful, hands-on work that helps you build confidence, develop new skills, and take real steps toward your career goals.
